Rye being a grain well-suited to the harsh northern climate of the Lower St. Lawrence, the artisans at Distillerie du Saint-Laurent reinterpret the Canadian Rye Whisky style with an uncompromising approach where local rye truly takes center stage.

Made from rye and malted barley from the Lower St. Lawrence region, fermented on grain and double-distilled in a copper pot still, our Rye Whisky embodies our desire to let the Lower St. Lawrence terroir express itself freely. The blend of virgin American oak and ex-whisky casks, aged for three years by the sea, reveals an approachable and harmonious whisky with fruity, woody, and slightly spicy notes.

Tasting notes
